October 24 at 11:30 a.m. Asheville Country Club. Speaker is Asheville Mayor Terry Bellamy, “The State of the City.”
November 8 at 11:30 a.m. “Lunch Bunch” at old Europe Cafe.

January 23 at 11:30 a.m. Lunch at Amici’a Trattoria, 900 Hendersonville Road. March 14 at 11:30 a.m. at Stove Trotters Restaurant, 4 Sweeten Creek Road is a fun LUNCH BUNCH gathering. New and old members are invited to get acquainted and learn about some of the events coming up in AAUW. Call LaDean Peterson at 650-3005 by Thursday, March 13 for your reservation.

April 13 at 4:00 p.m. is the LIVE ‘N LEARN fundraiser at Peg Steiner’s home. Tickets are $20.00 each, limited to AAUW members and spouses/partners, and must be purchased in advance. Make checks out to AAUW Asheville EF and mail to Sandy Bernard, 4 Larry McDonald Memorial Drive, Hendersonville, NC 28739-9300. Directions will be e-mailed to all ticket purchasers, or call Peg Steiner at 252-7328.
April 15 at 4:30 p.m. at the YWCA, 185 S. French Broad Avenue: Board meeting, including current and those who will be new to the Board next year.
April 23 at 11:30 a.m. is the ANNUAL MEETING at the Country Club of Asheville. Speaker is Celeste Collins, Executive Director of OnTrack Financial Education and Counseling, “OnTrack–offering financial education and counseling to low-income families in WNC.” Annual meeting and election of officers follows the program. June 1 is the GEM FUND annual fundraiser at the Richmond Hill Inn from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. More details to follow in the near future.
